Attorney Robert F. Maslan Jr.

Our firm’s founder, Attorney Robert F. Maslan Jr., provides Fairfield County individuals and businesses with experienced representation in the areas of commercial and residential real estate law, land use and zoning, commercial litigation, estate planning and probate administration.

Mr. Maslan graduated summa cum laude from Fairfield University before attending Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Maslan was member and Articles and Commentary Editor of the Fordham Law Review. Before attending law school, Mr. Maslan was a Connecticut state trooper, where he served in the Criminal Intelligence and Aviation Units, and as a patrol sergeant.

He has gained valuable experience in all aspects of municipal law as Corporation Counsel for the City of Norwalk.

Mr. Maslan is also an adjunct professor at Norwalk Community College, and has lectured at seminars on real estate title and boundary disputes, coastal land use regulation, and planning and zoning.

He is licensed to practice law in state courts in Connecticut and New York, and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and in the U.S. District Courts for the District of Connecticut and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In addition, he serves as an Attorney Trial Referee and as a Special Master in the Connecticut Superior Court for the Judicial District of Stamford/Norwalk, and as a hearing officer for the Norwalk Public Schools. Mr. Maslan is a member of the Connecticut and Fairfield County Bar Associations.
